I was super excited to try this product. If you know me personally then you know that I love all things to do with winter – that includes snow. Sadly it looks like we won’t be having any this Christmas
I was skeptical about this product, but as soon as I poured water in with the powdered snow product I was amazed because it was like magic. It had an odd smell when it was working its way to snow, but it wasn’t a bad one. I didn’t notice it at first, but it feels cold to the touch! It felt like something familiar, but I couldn’t figure out what. I was going to say that it was similar to coconut flakes and hot cereal, but then it hit me! It feels exactly like the insides of a wet diaper. Weird I know, but I’m positive that’s it.
Unfortunately, it’s not very compact so you can’t build anything out of it, but it’s fun to just run your hands through. I think it would be a great sensory activity for kids.

If you know me personally then you know that I love to bake. Baking is something that is easy and calming to me. Because of that I like to have all sorts of kitchen products to help. Recently I’ve been introduced to baking mats and I can honestly say these are a must have for cooks and bakers.
The great thing about this mat is that it have a ruler around the edges and circles so the placement of the cookie is perfect. I did have to do a trial and error on how much dough to put in the circle. Do not fill to the edges! Make sure there is enough left over that there is a clear ring around the dough.
The baking is make of silicone and has this brilliant bright colorful design. The green color certainly pops! It has a night weight to it. It’s not very heavy, but it solid and it is a great quality mat.
For testing out this mat I made chocolate chip cookies. They baked for around 15-20 minutes. When removed the mat was still in perfect condition and the cookie slid right off. Cleaning off the mat was super easy. A quick wipe with a sponge and soap then a rinse off.
I’ve never had these kind of flapjacks before. I only knew flapjacks as another name for pancakes, so when I saw the apple & cinnamon flapjack on Graze I admit I was a bit confused. After a little search I found out that in the UK a flapjack is a oat bar. Out of all the flapjacks listed I was most interested in trying the apple & cinnamon one so I was happy when I got it in my first box.
The fragrance of the flapjacks were strong, but not overly so. It wasn’t less of an apple smell, more oats. When it came to texture it met perfectly in the middle of moist and dry. The texture is soft and chewy, but not paste like. I was excited to see that it wasn’t a hard and crunchy because those bother my teeth. No flavors overpowered the others. It was super tasty and perfect for a late night snack I would definitely put this on my love list. Sadly enough I didn’t get a picture of the open product. It was so good I nearly inhaled it before even thinking out taking another photo. I would definitely recommend these.

Late Night Snacking! I was super excited to get these because I love regular pistachios and I’m always interested in trying out new flavors. I’m a big snacker so at first I didn’t think there was going to be enough, but it turned out to be the perfect amount. The serving was about a handfuls worth of pistachios. It curbed my hunger completely.
The savory seasoning was flavorful and not sweet like I was expecting it to be, but as far as I can tell it was mostly on the shells. It wasn’t a very strong, but it the flavor was definitely there. It was a disappointment because the seasoning was good, but it wasn’t spread out enough. I think I’ll trash this product for now and try out the lime-chilli pistachios next.
Rating: 6/10 – I like pistachios, but the BBQ flavor wasn’t enough for me.

Last week I was looking for an inexpensive subscription box of healthy snacks and I was lucky enough to stumble across Graze. Graze is a company starts by 7 friends dedicated to providing you with healthy snacks that you love. They have a trash, try, like and love program where if you like an item then you will get it again. If you trash an item they will never send it to you. I think that is one of my favorite things about the site, second to how affordable it is. For the price of six dollars you get four different snacks for a week. I was still hesitant and I didn’t want to dedicate myself to something without trying it first. Luckily they have this great deal where you get two boxes COMPLETELY free. I’ll link the code below. If you don’t like the products all you have to do is go on the site and cancel it. That’s how easy it is. You also get to keep the box they send.
My first box! I’m pretty excited because of how fast it came. It actually came the day before it was suppose to ship out. At first glance I loved everything in the box.
Last night I was looking around for something to eat when I remembered I had just got my first Graze boxes just a couple hours ago. Being that I love apples I decided to try the Toffee Apple first. As soon I opened the apple side of the package I smelt a strong and fresh apple scent. It kind of smells like the apple fruit leathers from BJs. For some reason I expected it to be crispy, but it had more soft and chewy texture. The apple slices were a bit bit tangy yet sweet. The toffee sauce was smooth and sweet yet not overly so. Alone they weren’t lip smacking good, but combined with the toffee sauce it was really tasty.
