If you know me personally then you know that I love to bake. Baking is something that is easy and calming to me. Because of that I like to have all sorts of kitchen products to help. Recently I’ve been introduced to baking mats and I can honestly say these are a must have for cooks and bakers.
The great thing about this mat is that it have a ruler around the edges and circles so the placement of the cookie is perfect. I did have to do a trial and error on how much dough to put in the circle. Do not fill to the edges! Make sure there is enough left over that there is a clear ring around the dough.
The baking is make of silicone and has this brilliant bright colorful design. The green color certainly pops! It has a night weight to it. It’s not very heavy, but it solid and it is a great quality mat.
For testing out this mat I made chocolate chip cookies. They baked for around 15-20 minutes. When removed the mat was still in perfect condition and the cookie slid right off. Cleaning off the mat was super easy. A quick wipe with a sponge and soap then a rinse off.
